Hi, I’m Gina, Center Director at HighPoint Academy Castle Pines! As Center Director, I believe every child is a capable, curious learner who deserves an environment that nurtures exploration, creativity, and confidence. My philosophy is deeply influenced by the work of Lev Vygotsky and Jean Piaget, emphasizing that children learn best through meaningful relationships, purposeful play, and hands-on experiences that build upon their individual strengths.
I believe in creating spaces where children feel safe to ask questions, take risks, make mistakes, and develop a genuine love of learning. I value child-led exploration and open-ended experiences that allow children to follow their interests while educators thoughtfully observe, listen, and extend their learning. I also believe that strong relationships with families and intentional support for teachers are essential to creating a thriving early childhood community. Ultimately, my goal is to create an environment where every child feels seen, valued, capable, and excited to discover the world around them.
